Neurodiversity-Affirming
Coaching & Support Services

Standard coaching models often rely on neurotypical executive function, linear goal-setting, and forced auditory/visual interaction. At Autistic Support, every offering is built around neurodivergent cognitive processing, sensory energy management, and your individual communication preferences.

You Do Not Need a Diagnosis to Work With Me

Formal autism assessments cost thousands of dollars and are often inaccessible. I work with self-identified autistic adults. Your self-knowledge is valid here.

How We Can Work Together:
Coaching Services for Autistic Adults

1. Autistic Burnout Recovery & Energy Management

You have collapsed after years of masking. You cannot do things you used to force yourself to do. I help you rebuild capacity without pushing you back into shutdown.

  • What We Work On:
    • Identifying hidden sensory drainers and energy leaks.
    • Developing personalized, low-executive-function routines for daily care.
    • Navigating recovery without guilt or pressure to perform.
    • Structuring your environment to reduce cognitive overload.

2 Unmasking, Autonomy & Boundary Coaching

Deciding when, where, and how much to drop the “neurotypical mask” is a personal process tied directly to your safety, energy, and self-trust.

  • What We Work On:
    • Identifying where social masking is draining your vitality versus where it serves as a helpful tool.
    • Setting firm, peaceful boundaries with work, family, and social circles.
    • Building confidence in requesting accommodations and honorably meeting your needs.
  • 📌 A Note on Communication: While text chat is always available for support, exploring unmasking is a deeply somatic, nuanced process. A live video session offers the richest space for this work. There is zero pressure to start on camera. We can move at your pace and work up to a video call whenever you feel ready. Just something to keep in mind.

3. Executive Dysfunction

You know what to do. You cannot initiate. I help you design external scaffolding, not willpower exercises.

What We Work On:

  • Deconstructing task paralysis into frictionless, single-step entry points.
  • Building visual and environmental triggers that bypass internal motivation blocks.
  • Creating flexible “low-battery” default routines for high-friction days.
  • Separating executive function obstacles from personal shame or laziness.

4. Sensory Overwhelm

Your environment is costing you energy you do not have. I help you audit and redesign your sensory landscape.

What We Work On:

  • Conducting a comprehensive sensory audit across your home, work, and routine.
  • Identifying hidden auditory, visual, and tactile drains that trigger silent fatigue.
  • Normalizing and implementing passive sensory accommodations (lighting, sound masking, clothing).
  • Structuring sensory recovery zones to restore your nervous system after exposure.

5. Chronic Health Conditions

Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity, stress, just to name a few. Standard wellness advice assumes a neurotypical body and executive function. I help you adapt health management to your actual neurology.

What We Work On:

  • Unpacking interoception challenges (difficulty sensing hunger, thirst, pain, or fullness).
  • Designing low-executive-demand meal and movement systems that do not require complex prep.
  • Navigating blood sugar or stress management without restrictive, masking-heavy diet rules.
  • Translating medical advice into realistic, autistic-friendly daily routines.
  • Navigating food sensitivities, sensory food preferences, and metabolic wellness without rigid diets.
  • Preparing for medical appointments and self-advocacy in healthcare settings.
  • Leveraging remote monitoring tools, such as Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and other wearable health trackers, to track real-time biofeedback without forcing you to rely on vague internal cues or tedious manual logging, and to solve the alexithymia gap.

6. Workplace Navigation

You need accommodations but do not have ADA paperwork. I help you design “invisible accommodations” and communication strategies that do not require disclosure.

What We Work On:

  • Designing stealth environmental and workflow tweaks you can implement unilaterally.
  • Drafting clear, boundary-driven communication templates for manager and team updates.
  • Managing energy budgets across meetings, open-office environments, and async tools.
  • Protecting focus time and preventing burnout without triggering professional scrutiny.

7. Late-Diagnosed Autistic Adults

You were diagnosed late – like so many of us. You are recontextualizing your entire life. I provide a stable, non-judgmental space to figure out what comes next.

What We Work On:

  • Processing your life history through a neurodiversity-affirming, non-pathologizing lens.
  • Unlearning chronic masking and identifying your genuine needs, preferences, and limits.
  • Navigating identity shifts with friends, partners, family, and employers.
  • Building a sustainable life architecture tailored to your authentic neurology.

What Coaching Looks Like

I do not simply tell you what to do. I ask questions that help you discover your own solutions. I use scaling, values exploration, and experiment design adapted for autistic cognition.

  • Short-term goal horizons (weeks, not years)
  • Concrete, sensory-specific planning
  • Interest-led motivation
  • Energy accounting instead of time management
  • “Minimum viable” health behaviors instead of optimal performance

Flexible Ways to Connect

By offering dedicated text-based coaching via live or asynchronous chat, Autistic Support gives autistic adults like you care on your terms: when you need it, not when your nervous system happens to be ready for a camera.

Text-based support is available to everyone; you don’t need to be non-verbal to choose a written format. Communication should never be a barrier to care. You choose the medium that feels safest and most accessible to you on any given day: a live text chat today, a video call next week, or a low-demand asynchronous message when burnout hits.

Every message is thoughtful and personalized, never a generic auto-response or chatbot.
